New details have been revealed by the action of the Directorate for the Investigation of Cybercrime conducted this evening in three Call Centers in Tirana.
According to the data, 9 security measures have been imposed as part of the investigations.
The action is being led by Tirana prosecutor, Rovena Bozo.
During the inspections, 3 call centers were verified, distributed across 4 work environments, with around 300 jobs in total.
It is learned that around 1 million euros in cash, suspected to be proceeds from criminal activity, have been seized.
Two of the controlled premises are located in the "Millennium Business Center", on Kavaja Street, while the other is near the Zoo.
It is suspected that these structures have defrauded citizens from several countries, including Austria, Italy, Spain, Greece, Canada and the USA, through various telephone schemes.
Investigations continue to fully uncover the scheme and the role of everyone involved in this activity.
