The children of the couple Kastriot and Alba Cenko still do not know that their mother was executed by their father. According to information discovered by the Greek media, the perpetrator of the murder, immediately after the crime, put his wife's body in a bag and put it in the attic. Then, he continued with his day as if nothing had happened. Not even the 2 children, 9 and 12 years old, understood anything.

The next day, when his two children asked him where their mother was, he replied that she had left for work early. The minors, to this day, do not know that their mother has passed away.

During this time, he sent messages to his children, claiming that it was their mother who was leaving and that he would take care of them.

In the messages revealed by Protothema, Cenko sent the children messages saying that “I will come and pick you up when I get my papers in order.” He covered up the crime and manipulated the children into believing that their mother had left, while her body was hidden in the house.

The 39-year-old has been arrested and investigations are underway to clarify all the circumstances of the crime.

"Children, mom left, took clothes, a suitcase, I'm in Patras and I won't be coming home again. So, take care of your brother and listen to dad. When mom collects money and prepares the papers, I'll come back to take you with me. For now, I'm going far away, and I'm separated from dad, so listen to him, don't get angry and take care. I'll call you when I can because I can't and I don't have an offer. Ok, don't worry, I'll be fine and I'll pick you up when I can. You and your brother," Kastriot Cenko wrote from his wife's cell phone.

"Take care and listen to daddy okay child. When I finish the papers and collect the money, I will come and get you, but until then be wise to listen to daddy and let's take care of each other. I love you very much, I will call you when I can, ok my love. Now I can't talk. I will be fine bye. Don't worry. I will be fine bye. One more thing baby, daddy doesn't know I'm gone, when he reads the message, tell him I will call him so he doesn't call me. Okay? Kisses", it is further written in the messages.

"Honey, since I told you when I collect the money to sort out the papers, I will come and get you and your brother. Don't worry about it. I love you very much and I will get you when I can, okay kid, let daddy say whatever he wants," he wrote in the messages.

The crime is suspected to have been committed due to Kastriot Cenko's jealousy towards his 32-year-old wife. The murder took place in the couple's home in Ampelokipi, while their two sons were sleeping. After the crime, he hid the body in the attic for a week and on December 5 called the police, confessing to the murder. It is suspected that he first hit her with a hammer and then strangled her with his hands.
