Three people were arrested by police after they were accused of threatening a 36-year-old man to give him 20,000 to not publish intimate videos and photos.

The police say that as part of the "Coercion" operation, the arrest warrants for citizens AM, 29 years old, and M. Sh., 26 years old, were executed, and on 24.10.2024, citizen SS, 23 years old, was arrested in flagrante delicto, taking money from the 36-year-old.

"The investigation suspects that the 3 citizens threatened the 36-year-old man to give them 20,000 euros so that they would not publish intimate photos and videos," the police say.

The police operation codenamed "Extortion" is being finalized as a result of an investigation using proactive methods, by the Sector for the Investigation of Crimes against Property, in the Directorate for the Investigation of Serious Crimes, in the Criminal Police Department, in cooperation with the Tirana Prosecutor's Office.

They threatened a 36-year-old man to give them 20,000 euros to prevent him from publishing intimate film material, 3 citizens are identified and arrested.
