The special committee established by the Board of Directors of ESAIC (European Society of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care) has announced the winner of the draft project of the Albanian Society of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care (ASAI).

Tirana has been officially selected, among many European capitals, as the host city of the European Autumn Congress, in the ESAIC – CONNECT format, Albania 2026.

This decision marks a historic moment, as for the first time a European congress of ESAIC, one of the largest medical communities in Europe, will take place in Southeastern Europe.

This is a great achievement and a proud moment for our medical community, which is now firmly placed on the map of the most prestigious international events.

Anesthesiologists-resuscitators from across the region and from various European countries are expected to participate in this congress, turning Tirana into an important center of professional, academic and scientific exchange.

This success is the fruit of our joint effort and the belief that Albania deserves to be part of the European map of science and innovation in medicine.
