Requests change of security measure, hearing date set for Ilir Meta

On October 17, the Special Appeals Court against Corruption and Organized Crime is expected to review Ilir Meta's appeal against the prison sentence previously imposed by the Special Court of First Instance.

Meta is currently in custody as part of a SPAK investigation, where he is accused of several criminal offenses related to corruption, concealment of assets, and false declaration.

His defense has stated that the measure is unjustified, with a political background, and has requested its mitigation or removal.
