In an official statement, the Muslim Community of Albania says that it is closely following the latest developments in the country and the ongoing protests, expressing concern about any situation that could undermine social peace, security and coexistence among citizens.

"We believe that the right to express oneself, to protest and to demand accountability is an important part of social life, while maintaining peace, respect for others and avoiding any form of violence are the shared responsibility of all."

"In these moments, sincere reflection, wisdom and responsibility are needed from all, to assess the consequences of our words and actions on our common life. We call on institutions to respond seriously to the demands of citizens and on all parties to show restraint, prudence and responsibility, avoiding inflammatory language, hatred and any action that may deepen the division among citizens, placing human dignity, security and the good of the country at the center of every decision-making," the statement says, among other things.

According to the Muslim Community, every dispute, no matter how complex, must seek a solution through dialogue, mutual listening, and respect for the law and institutions.
