Alexander Dugin, Russian ideologue and supporter of President Vladimir Putin, has reacted on the social network X, where he has come out in support of the protests in Albania.

Dugin, widely regarded as the ideologue of Russian President Vladimir Putin, wrote in a reaction on X that, "Albanians are showing who they are."

"Now the Albanians are showing their colors. This nation was built by Orthodox Christians (Orthodox priest Fan Noli), and their Islam is Sufi and mystical."

"They are Indo-Europeans, by the way. A very interesting and brave people. They are awakening now," he wrote in X.

The reaction comes at a time when Albania is facing violent protests in recent days.
