Police have intervened with tear gas and pressurized water to disperse protesters gathered in front of the Ministry of Education, on the sixth day of the student and high school student protest.

After the situation escalated, the crowd moved towards the center of Tirana.

The protesters stopped in front of the Socialist Party headquarters, where they began attacking the building with stones, hitting the door and breaking the windows.

Police forces were near the area, but did not intervene immediately.

A few moments later, officers fired tear gas to disperse the crowd.
