I have long expressed an opinion, now fully consolidated with myself, that Albania needs a true right wing!

Not simply for a party that declares itself right-wing, but for a political alternative that is based on a clear philosophy of organizing society and the state.

Albanian society needs to politically discipline itself through a right-wing culture. A right that sanctifies private property, that defends the free market and competition, that places human dignity, individual responsibility, and a strong family at the foundation of social organization.

The Albanian state needs a culture of right-wing laws. For clear, simple, understandable and effective laws. For a state that does not interfere in every aspect of an individual's life, but is strong where it needs to be. For a state that guarantees public order, security, national defense and law enforcement.

A state with less arbitrariness and more legal authority. With an effective and strong army, with institutions that do not negotiate the implementation of the law.

Albanian justice also lacks the right-wing culture of judicial precedent. The culture according to which the law should be applied equally to everyone and similar cases should receive similar solutions. Because equality before the law is not guaranteed by declarations, but by the consistency and predictability of judicial decision-making.

We are missing exactly this right one!

A right that has no complex about talking about order, authority, national identity, and individual responsibility, even when it doesn't govern the country.

A right like Marine Le Pen's in France, which places public order and security at the center of the political debate. Or a right like AfD in Germany, which demands a stronger state and the return of national identity to the political debate. Not necessarily to copy all their programs or positions, but to understand that the right must have identity, ideas and political courage.

Opposite the left, there is always a right. And political history has shown that the more radical one side becomes, the more radical the other's response tends to become.

I understand very well that in a society that never completely broke away from the communist mindset, such a right would have great social and electoral difficulties.

But our problem is even more serious. In Albania, the right never seriously emerged even as a political idea!

Here, the left and the right differ from each other about as much as Lenin from Stalin.

When in opposition, our parties become Leninist. They promise revolution, overthrow, destruction of the system, and power in the name of the people.

When they come to power, they become Stalinists. They centralize everything, control institutions, relativize freedoms, and treat the state as the property of the government.

Then they lose the elections, go into opposition and go back to Lenin!

And so our vicious political circle continues endlessly: From Lenin to Stalin and from Stalin back to Lenin!

No connection with a right wing that imposes a culture of freedom, dignity, private property, family, a competitive economy, and a just but strong state.

I don't want to make any associations with those who have been riding on the backs of the Albanian right for decades. It's not worth it! We would end up back in the Lenin-Stalin vicious circle.

But that Albania needs a real right wing, this is not in dispute for me.

It is needed to establish some clear political, economic, legal and moral milestones. To give society the opportunity to choose between two different philosophies of governance and not between two groups competing to administer the same model of power.

Yes, I am for political change!

But not for a change with a Leninist and Stalinist caretaker government, as some professors are suggesting in these difficult political days.

Lenin and Stalin cannot come together to produce democracy. They could not produce such an alternative even in Russia, let alone in Albania! It took Lenin's death for Stalin to become the boss...

Political guardianship, or an agreement to share power, or an artificial union of those who think alike about the state but fight over its ownership, is not political change.

They are simply other ways of maintaining the same system.

Political change is not about changing the administrators of power. Change is about changing the philosophy with which power is exercised.

Building, organizing and promoting a true Albanian right-wing alternative, yes!

An alternative that is not born of hatred for the left, but of faith in freedom, property, family, individual responsibility, the law, and a strong democratic state.

This would be a real alternative.

This would be political change!

Everything else is just another lap in the Lenin–Stalin circle.

We have a blind man in the yard.
