Artan Tafani turns out to be part of Laert Haxhiu's group in Lushnje, and Haxhiu's name is among the names he mentioned before the investigators for the murders that have been revealed.

Tafan's testimony before the blue uniforms has so far revealed 6 murders in Greece, in Tirana, Elbasan and Berat, while 15 arrest warrants have also been signed.

Artan Tafani was arrested in Lushnje a few days ago as the perpetrator of the robbery of a currency exchange point in Astir, Tirana. His arrest was kept secret due to investigations and suspicions of his involvement in Haxhiu's group.

How Artan Tafani was arrested

He is the author of the robbery of 40 thousand Euros at the currency exchange point in Astir on the morning of June 28, 2023. It turns out that the 39-year-old also uses the name Marius and, according to the police, he was previously convicted of theft.

After the robbery, he left on a bicycle and with the help of another person, he hid it in a garage. The police discovered and then arrested that Tafan's accomplice was Enio Meçaj, 35 years old, a resident of Fier.
