Waiter Antonio Deliaj lost his life in the "Orange" club

The owner of the club "Orange" in the city of Saranda, Spiro Iljadhi, was put in handcuffs by the police.

It is reported that Iljadhi was arrested by the border police at the Customs of the Round of the World, after he was given a prison sentence for "violating the rules of protection at work".

The 17-year-old waiter Antonio Deliaj tragically lost his life a month ago, after falling down an elevator that was used to transport the bar's goods from the warehouse.

Police Notification:

The owner of the bar where a 17-year-old employed in this bar lost his life a month ago, due to the breaking of the elevator cable, was arrested and put in handcuffs. 

The services of the Qafë Botë Border Police Station, as a result of increased controls for the crackdown on border crimes and the capture of wanted citizens, have captured and detained the wanted citizen SI, 37 years old, a resident of Saranda. 

The Court of First Instance of Saranda General Jurisdiction has assigned to this citizen, the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense "Violation of the rules of protection at work", since on 26.08.2023, in the premises owned by his, due to the rupture of the elevator cable, a 17-year-old employed in this bar lost his life.       

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Sarandë, for further actions.
