Three stolen cars are seized in Italy, the Czech Republic and Germany (Pictures)

Three stolen cars in the European Union countries have been seized at Morina Customs and the Port of Durrës.

The police say that during the action in Morina, they seized two stolen cars, in the Czech Republic and Germany, which were being transported with a cart. A driver from Kosovo was put in handcuffs.

Also, during the checks in Durrës, a 49-year-old man who had returned from Italy with a stolen "Audi" car was detained.

Operational plan at all border crossing points to verify and detect stolen vehicles entering/exiting our country.

At the entrance to the country, 2 cases of attempts to traffic in our country, stolen vehicles, were hit.

PKK Morinë/Transported with a wheelbarrow, 2 vehicles that turned out to be stolen respectively in the Czech Republic and in Germany, the 40-year-old from Kosovo is being prosecuted.

Port, Durrës/Erdhi from Italy, with a vehicle that was stolen there, the 49-year-old is being prosecuted.

The 3 vehicles are blocked for further verification.

Meanwhile, during this month, the services of the Border Police have blocked 5 other vehicles in several PKKs of the country, for attempted trafficking.

Within the framework of intensive work, by the services of the Border Police, in all the PKK of the country, with the aim of preventing and combating border crimes, as well as to provide a correct and fast service to the citizens, at the entrance/exit, a police operational plan has been initiated, with a focus on preventing the trafficking of stolen vehicles to/from our country.

As a result of the implementation of this operational plan, in cooperation with the local police directorates, in the Morina PKK and in the Port PKK, Durrës, at the entrance of the country, 2 cases of this illegality were found and dealt with.

Specialistët për Hetimin e Trafiqeve të Paligjshme të DVP Kukës referuan materialet në Prokurori ku nisi procedimi në gjendje të lirë për shtetasin G. S., 40 vjeç, banues në Gjilan, pasi në hyrje të vendit, në PKK Morinë, drejtonte një karrotrec me të cilin transportonte 2 automjete tip “Mercedes Benz” dhe tip “BMË X5”, të cilat nga verifikimet rezultuan se ishin të shpallura në kërkim përkatësisht nga Interpol Praga dhe Interpol Ëiesbaden.

-Specialistët për Hetimin e Trafiqeve të Paligjshme të DVP Durrës referuan materialet në Prokurori ku nisi procedimi në gjendje të lirë për shtetasin R. H., 49 vjeç, banues në Shijak, pasi në hyrje të vendit, në PKK Port, Durrës, drejtonte një automjet tip “Audi A4”, i cili nga verifikimet rezultoi se ishte vjedhur në Itali, më datë 18.11.2018.

All three vehicles were blocked by the relevant specialists, in order to carry out further investigative actions.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office of Kukes and the Prosecutor's Office of Durrës, for further actions, for the criminal offense "Trafficking of motor vehicles".
