A serious event occurred in the village of Theth, Shkodra, where a conflict between several citizens escalated for weak motives.

Thanks to the timely intervention of the Police, further aggravation of the situation was prevented.

According to the official announcement, a 33-year-old citizen, Alfred Rrupa, resident of Theth, was arrested by police officers after allegedly firing a gun at a vehicle carrying three people.

The incident occurred yesterday afternoon. Preliminary investigations show that Alfred Rrupa used a pistol-type firearm and shot at a vehicle in which citizens NH, 29 years old (the driver), PH, 27 years old, and D. Rr., 29 years old, were traveling.

Fortunately, no one was injured in the shooting, but the vehicle was damaged.

After the gun incident, the three aforementioned citizens exercised physical violence against the suspected perpetrator, which resulted in their being prosecuted at large.

The police have seized the firearm along with the combat ammunition, while the procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor's Office.

Shkodra Police continue to work to fully clarify the circumstances and motive of the incident.

A 33-year-old man was arrested and handcuffed after he fired a pistol at a vehicle carrying 3 citizens in the village of Theth.

The 3 citizens are being prosecuted at large because they exercised physical violence against the 33-year-old man.

The firearm, a pistol with combat ammunition, was seized.

The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Shkodra Police Commissariat, after receiving a report that a vehicle had been shot in the village of Theth, have organized work in collaboration with the specialists of the Serious Crimes Investigation Section, to clarify the circumstances of the case and identify the citizens involved.

Following the actions in the case:
– citizen A. Rr., 33 years old, resident of the village of Theth, was arrested;
– proceedings were initiated in the absence of citizens NH, 29 years old, PH, 27 years old and D. Rr., 29 years old, all three residents of the village of Theth.

The investigation suspects that yesterday afternoon, for weak motives, citizen A. Rr. fired a pistol at a vehicle driven by citizen NH and passengers citizens PH and D. Rr. The shooting only caused material damage to the vehicle.
Subsequently, these 3 citizens exercised physical violence against the 33-year-old.

The procedural materials were transferred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Shkodra, for further action.
