SERIOUS in Gjirokastra, 24-year-old RAPES minor girl!

A 24-year-old man has been detained by police in Gjirokastra , accused of rape.

According to police, the young man is suspected of having forcible sexual intercourse with a minor.

" The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Gjirokastër Police Commissariat detained citizen EP, 24 years old, resident of Kavajë, on suspicion of having forcibly engaged in sexual intercourse with a minor citizen ," the police statement said.   

The procedural materials were transferred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Gjirokastra, for further action.
