Under strict security measures, Bertil Alliaj arrived at the Court of First Instance in Vlora at noon to familiarize himself with the security measures.

He is accused of being the murderer of his uncle's son, citizen Dalan Alliaj.

The incident occurred four days ago in the village of Gjorm in Vlora, while the perpetrator said he had committed the crime for a strong reason, but without really specifying the cause of the conflict between them.

"I killed him for a strong reason that I can't say, because I had told him several times that he should react. Maybe at another time I will talk about the reason, but I'm not ready yet,"  the 32-year-old said.

The 32-year-old was arrested in the mountains of the village of Gjorm after several hours of police searching for the serious incident. In a statement, the police explained that the pistol suspected of being used in the incident was also seized, along with 10 cartridges.

The 32-year-old is a person of high social risk, sentenced in absentia to 35 years in prison for murder and was wanted as the perpetrator of the Çole massacre where three young men were killed.

A conflict over trivial motives degenerated into the use of firearms by two groups of three boys aged 18-21 each, leaving three victims.

Previously convicted for the Çole massacre are Aleksander Llanaj and Ani Begaj, who was captured two years ago after several years on the run, while Bertil Alliaj had been on the run since 2015.
