"I strangled her with the charger plug", the statement of the Albanian
39-year-old Albanian arrested for murdering his wife

The macabre murder of 32-year-old Alba Cenko by her husband Kastriot Cenko in Greece shocked the country.

Other details and photos from the murder investigation file have been revealed. In his first statement to the investigation team, the perpetrator stated that on the evening of November 28-29, after an argument, he hit his wife with a hammer and then strangled her with a phone charger plug.

According to him, this action was not noticed by the children, aged 9 and 12, who were sleeping in the next room. He placed a bag over her head so that her blood would not stain the apartment and then wrapped her in the bed sheet. He first inserted it into a hole in the wall behind the wooden wardrobe in the bedroom.

On November 30, while the children were missing from the apartment, he wrapped the body in a piece of cloth, a plastic bag, and placed it in the attic of the apartment where it was found.
