Tragic accident in Cerrik, car hits and kills elderly man

A fatal accident occurred this afternoon on the road connecting Cerrik with Shalesi, taking the life of a pedestrian.

Official sources from the Police announced that under still unclear circumstances, citizen EH, who was driving a truck, hit a pedestrian, citizen Xh. B., 70 years old. As a result of the injuries sustained, the 70-year-old died at the scene.

Immediately after the incident, the Traffic Police services arrived at the scene of the accident. The truck driver, citizen EH, was escorted to the Police premises for further procedural actions.

At the same time, the investigation team has begun work at the scene to fully clarify the circumstances and causes of the tragic accident.
