Accident in Maliq, 18-year-old man hits and kills 68-year-old man with car

An accident resulting in the death of a passerby occurred a few moments ago in Maliq, Korça.

According to police, an 18-year-old man crashed his car into a 68-year-old man, who unfortunately died on the way to the hospital.

Police Announcement:

At around 19:05, citizen EP, 18 years old, resident of Çaushli, driving a motorcycle, hit a pedestrian, citizen AS, 68 years old, resident of Veliterna.

Citizen AS died on the way to the hospital as a result of the collision.

Meanwhile, the driver of the motorcycle, citizen EP, was injured and is in hospital for medical assistance.

The investigation team is at the scene to determine the cause of the accident.
