For the second day in a row, the Appeals Court of Appeals has postponed the decision for the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, who has appealed the measure of imprisonment.

During today's hearing, Veliaj disputed the new evidence that SPAK claims, such as wiretapping. Veliaj claimed that the Special Prosecution Office wiretapped his family conversations for a month.

"You have not considered Sali Berisha's public attacks on SPAK as new evidence. But you have considered my phone calls with my son and family and my interest in interviews on mainstream TV as new evidence," Veliaj said.
