The coach of the Albanian national team, Sylvinho

The coach of the Albanian national team, Sylvinho, has shown Albania in his native country, Brazil. For "Estadao", the coach stated that the objective is to qualify for the 2024 European Championship. Sylvinho will make his debut with Albania on March 27 in the 2024 qualifier against Poland in Warsaw. In group E, in addition to the Poles, there are also the Czech Republic, the Faroe Islands and Moldova.

"When I accepted Albania's offer, I knew very well that their goal was a foreign coach. The main goal is to qualify for Euro 2024 ," said Sylvinho first.

The coach then dwelt on the hard work he has chosen to do, revealing that he had to do the UEFA course for a five-year term due to commitments.

"I have traveled in recent years, either to Brazil, Japan, Australia or the United States of America. It took me five years to complete the UEFA course. I missed important holidays. We Brazilians are good coaches, who know how to work, we are promising and without a doubt we want our time. I am happy to be among them" , said the coach.

Sylvinho also showed one of the most important elements, which is language. According to him, our language is among the most difficult in the world. The coach also spoke about the players who will be called in the first meeting.

"The Albanian language is one of the most difficult in the world. Contrary to what people say, there is no lack of work here in Albania. We deal with a lot of analysis, summaries, clips of players from 90 minutes of each of the 30 possible footballers who will be called. at least seven footballers will be called up from Serie A. Of the three important trips, two were to Italy. The others play in England, Spain, Turkey and Greece. I also follow the domestic championship as we have noticed 2-3 young footballers with a lot talent to be part of us. I'll be straight with you, I'm confident we can qualify for the European as the group is really balanced," said Sylvinho.
