Surprises in the Bundesliga, Leverkusen and Dortmund disappoint

The five matches of the 21st week in the German Bundesliga produced surprises in terms of results.

Bayer Leverkusen were held to a goalless draw by Wolfsburg away from home. The result leaves Alonso's team in second place with 46 points, a full eight points behind Bayern Munich.

Borussia Dortmund also recorded a disappointing result, losing 1-2 at home to Stuttgart. The Yellow and Blacks continue to face problems this season, as they are ranked 11th with 29 points. Stuttgart holds fourth place with 35 points.

In other matches, Maniz and Augsburg drew goalless, Freiburg narrowly won against Heidenheim, while Union Berlin excelled 4-0 against Hoffenheim.
