"Reestablishment": We are in the same spirit as the OSCE regarding the
Deputy Oerd Bylykbashi

The "Reestablished" Democratic Party wants to be co-leader of the electoral reform, although in a reaction of the deputy Oerd Bylykbashi, the pessimistic spirit prevails for the achievement of a common language between the parties.

Bylykbashi says that his group is in a spirit with the position of the OSCE, which according to him has requested that the electoral reform be done by consensus.

Bylykbashi accuses Prime Minister Edi Rama, saying that he wants to trade the 84 votes he needs to pass the laws with a majority vote, in exchange for "legitimizing the theft of the elections".

Bylykbash's reaction:

The Democratic Party welcomes the statement of the OSCE Presence in Albania, which includes the position of the main international partners, regarding the electoral reform and welcomes the organization's readiness to engage with expertise in the reform process, in accordance with tradition and contribution more than 20 years of the OSCE.

Electoral reform is at the center of the debate because the violation of the elections of May 14, 2023 and the brutal violation of constitutional principles and electoral law by Prime Minister Edi Rama in collaboration with crime, are at the root of the political crisis that has gripped the country.

The position of the OSCE that the electoral reform should include all parties, the solutions and changes in the electoral law and other laws should materialize the common goals, is fully in line with the position of the DP and the opposition that the electoral reform should be consensual and comprehensive as in process and in the common rules for free and fair elections.

Rama's declarations on reform that anathematize the 20-year consensual tradition of bipartisan, majority-opposition parliamentary committees, which has guaranteed two political rotations with elections in 2005 and 2013, because Rama intends to avoid addressing by consensus the ODIHR's recommendations on the sale and purchase of the vote, the pressure on the voters, the violation of the secrecy and freedom of the vote, the fusion of the state with the ruling party and the use of the state to win the elections.

Rama wants to establish by law the rules for the theft of elections by asking for the 84 votes in exchange for bargains, as he has repeatedly done.

The Democratic Party demands, in the same spirit as the OSCE position, that the reform be made by consensus, that the opposition appoints itself and not the government appoints who co-directs the commission and its representation in the commission.

Any attitude of rejection for fair demands that the Democratic Party has guaranteed to the Socialist Party in opposition in the years 2005-2013, only shows Edi Rama's intention that in the 2025 elections not only will he not allow the voting of the diaspora, but also that the votes of the Albanians they are robbed again.
