Opposition MPs Flamur Noka and Gazment Bardhi have attacked President Bajram Begaj, after he tried to speak today from the floor of the Assembly to address the parties.

Begaj found it impossible to keep his word, as the deputies of Sali Berisha's group blocked the podium again. For this reason, the Presidency announced a few moments ago the relocation of Begaj's speech to the premises of the Presidency.

Noka called President Begaj "Edi Rama's propaganda minister".

"The president of the republic came as a servant of the assembly, of Edi Rama, to bless the changes, he came to make propaganda. The president should have called the table, not come as the minister of propaganda. The president should return the laws. The president addresses the assembly with acts. The opposition action will continue with civil disobedience", said Noka.

Gazment Bardhi also took a similar position, calling on Begaj not to act as one-sided. According to him, Begaj should not act like a blind man when the Assembly has not been functioning normally for 3 months.

"Let me reiterate once again that the new parliamentary session starts in the same state of dysfunction, due to the deadlock, and not to make the electoral reform commission functional and to implement a bargain similar to that of 2012 Begaj would give a message, it has been officially announced that the Parliament of Albania has been in a normal dysfunction for 3 months. And his presence for the first time, this act today was a low provocation of the president to the opposition. I call on him to give up his behavior as a party, as one-sided", said Bardhi.
