Plarent Ndreca will be the youngest deputy in the Parliament of Albania. The CEC decided today to give the mandate to lawyer Plarent Ndreca, who replaces Arben Ahmatej, who is on the run.
After Ndreca came out clean on the decriminalization form, the chief commissioner Ilirjan Celibashi made the decision to give him the mandate, and then he will have to swear in the plenary senate.
" It is not verified that there are conditions for not electing him as a deputy in the Assembly, so I decide to grant the mandate to Mr. Plarent Ndreca ," said Celibashi.
After Dallandyshe Bici refused to take the mandate of deputy, he passed it to Ndreca who received 4008 preferential votes in the 2021 parliamentary elections.
Ndreca will replace Arben Ahmatej, since the latter was absent for 6 months because he is on the run. Ahmetaj is under investigation for corruption, money laundering and concealment of assets in relation to the incinerators file, and an international arrest warrant has been issued against him.
