The poor Sulo

People who have traveled by ferry know very well the feeling experienced by the well-known moderator, Bieta Sulo. The latter has shared with her followers on "Instagram" some pictures from the return by ferry from Italy.

Sulo recounts the events of the trip, not overlooking the arrogant behavior of the staff and the group involved in the organization. She also tagged Prime Minister Edi Rama at the end of the post, apparently to draw attention to this ugly phenomenon.

Bieta Sulo's post:

We had to travel on Sunday evening from the port of Bari to Durrës. The cruise was cancelled. Not because of the weather, as the other lines followed, there was simply no reason. We go to inquire at the company's "desk", but its counters are closed. No one to give you an explanation/orientation. We "beat" the phones with the operators in Durrës, to understand what the shipping companies take on in case of cancellations. The answer that came from the other side of the Adriatic coast was: where do these mice know the word compensation, in this extraordinary flow that they have, it was very difficult to understand what is happening. We found a hotel room nearby, but dozens of other families spent the night under the open sky.

A day after. At 10.30 in the morning the departure would take place. Arrival was expected sometime after 6:00 pm. We got on the ferry. 12 o'clock we hadn't left yet... finally a voice from the loudspeakers comes to life and tells us that for "operational reasons" we would have "a delay of more than 90 minutes". At that moment they were just done. Finally, sometime around 13.30 (3 hours late, after canceling the night before) we left.

Around 21.00 the travelers were taken out of the rooms, while the ferry docked in Durrës at 22.30. But it took another 90 minutes before we finally touched down. As if by magic during these three hours, the vacationers gathered on the stairs and corridors, with children fighting and tired faces, turned into refugees. These are the views of this evening, when the holidays turn into trouble.

The arrogance of the ferry companies, who seem to have life beyond their holidays in their hands, who treat people not with the dignity they deserve, but like cattle, must stop! The images of immigrants who went to America at the beginning of the 20th century have no place in 2024! @ediramaal
