Views from archaeological excavations

The area between Lushnja and Divjaka is taking on great importance in terms of archaeological excavations, as the first findings promise to reveal objects that tell the thousands of years of history of the area.

The Bishcukas Hills in Divjaka could become another important archaeological site in the country, testifying to the origins and history of that area.

The National Institute of Cultural Heritage, in collaboration with the Lushnja Museum and the University of Tirana, have begun excavations where the first findings are quite promising.

There have been other archaeological finds in the area before, which were another piece of evidence that convinced the heritage institute to begin excavations.

The area between Lushnja and Divjaka is thought to be one of the most important areas for archaeological discoveries, as it is suspected that it contains underground objects from Albanian history dating back thousands of years.
