Across the country, Muslim believers have begun celebrating this holy holiday in the early hours of the morning by heading to mosques to pray.

In Tirana, hundreds of Muslim believers prayed on the "Martyrs of the Nation" boulevard, but also in other mosques in the capital.

Kurban is a holiday in which joy, the hand of solidarity and support should enter every heart and home.

"This holiday is a holiday of awakening hope and optimism to persistently continue our loyalty to the Lord of the universe, for He is the Great Forgiver, the Infinitely Merciful."

The name of this holiday is associated with major events that have changed the course of history, such as: the rebuilding of the Kaaba, the Hajj, the name "Muslim", etc.

Qurban represents the materialization of intention and willingness to sacrifice in the name of Allah. In addition to the spiritual aspect of qurban, its social aspect is also important, helping those who have nothing, so that everyone can celebrate this Islamic holiday together.

According to the Muslim religion, the Eid al-Fitr prayer ritual consists of two moments: the first is the prayer through which worship of God is expressed, and then comes the sermon. For this marked day, a ram or an adult sheep is slaughtered, which is dedicated to God. The meat is divided among family members, among friends, and donated to the poor.
