Ukraine, Russia conduct third prisoner-of-war exchange

Ukraine has conducted a prisoner swap with Russia, the third such exchange since the start of the war, Ukraine's deputy prime minister Iryna Vereshchuk said in an online post.

The agreement with the Russians means that 12 Ukrainian soldiers who were captured will return home, Vereshchuk said.

She added that from this agreement, Russia would also return 14 civilians it holds as captives.

However, Ukraine gave no details on how many Russians have been released in return.
