The Donald Trump administration has taken further action against Harvard. Trump has banned the university from enrolling international students.
All students currently studying at Harvard and are of other nationalities must transfer to other universities, or else they will lose their legal status.
Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem argued that the Trump administration's decision was made because Harvard had created an unsafe environment, allowing agitators and terrorists to attack Jewish students.
In a statement, Harvard called Donald Trump's decision illegal, and was adamant that the university would continue to welcome foreign students.
Meanwhile, the White House has asked Harvard to make changes to its hiring, admissions and teaching programs. The Trump administration has also requested all disciplinary records of non-immigrant students enrolled at Harvard for the past five years.
The expulsion of 'foreign students' is the latest in a series of clashes between Harvard University and the Trump administration. It is enough to recall that the university was previously cut off from $2.65 billion in grants.
