US attacks Iran's nuclear facilities, first reaction from the European Union

European Union foreign ministers will meet on Monday to discuss the US attacks on Iran.

The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, wrote on the "X" platform that Iran should not be allowed to develop a nuclear bomb, while calling for calm.

"Iran must not be allowed to develop a nuclear weapon, as this would constitute a threat to international security. I call on all parties to step back, return to the negotiating table and prevent further escalation. EU foreign ministers will discuss the situation tomorrow," Kallas wrote.
