A NATO official told Reuters on Sunday that the alliance is closely following developments following the United States' attacks on three of Iran's main nuclear facilities.

Asked about NATO's stance on the attacks and the potential impact these developments could have on the Alliance's non-combat mission in neighboring Iraq, the official stressed:
"Of course we are following the situation closely."

The conflict between Iran and Israel has now entered a new stage following the US attacks on three of Tehran's nuclear power plants.
