Moscow strengthens the ranks of the army

As security experts have long warned, the war in Ukraine appears to have no imminent end in sight.

This fact is strengthened even more by the recent decree of the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, who announced the recruitment of 147 thousand people into the army during the spring.

According to the head of the Kremlin, this strengthening of the ranks of the Russian army is annual, while only in September another 120 thousand Russians joined the armed forces.

In Russia, all men between the ages of 18 and 27 are required to complete one year of military service, or equivalent training while attending higher education.
