A teacher from Taiwan, known as Kang Nu, managed to escape the building where she lived through a side door when the apartment began to collapse due to the earthquake, but allegedly returned to save her cat, where it sadly died .

The news was announced by the local media "Set News", which states that the 10-story building where the teacher lived tilted at a 45-degree angle, trapping many people inside. Only 13 minutes after escaping the building, Kang Nu returned to the ruins in search of her cat.

She never returned from the building as it continued to collapse further. The rescue team searched for Kang Nu, and moments later they made the tragic discovery: She was trapped under the rubble of the building.
