The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, was invited to dinner yesterday evening by the well-known Turkish writer Orhan Pamuk.

Without hiding his emotions, the news was given by the head of the government of Kosovo himself, through a post on social networks.

According to him, the topics of conversation changed more often than the dishes on the table, while the winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature has shown interest in Kosovo, Albanians and the Balkans.

" At first I didn't believe Dr. Bilgin Sai, that the writer Orhan Pamuk is inviting me to dinner. As the evening approached, the minutes seemed to me as long as the hours, while three and a half hours with him flew by as the minutes. At the Sur Balık-Cihangir restaurant in Istanbul's Beyoğlu neighborhood, the topics of conversation changed more often than the dishes on the table. Maybe we managed to write the introductory summary of the chapters of our future friendship. Artist Orhan Pamuk, winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2006, has a spontaneous kindness and fearsome attentiveness. And, so interested in Kosovo, the Albanians, the Balkans.
