In addition to the director of the Security and Information Agency (BIA) Aleksandar Vulin, who was sanctioned recently, there are other Serbian citizens on the blacklist of the United States of America (USA).

This is what the Serbian media reports, according to which some of them are known to the general public, such as the arms dealer Slobodan Tešić and the controversial businessman Milan Radojić, while others are almost unknown.

The US Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) imposed sanctions on BIA director and former Serbian Interior Minister Aleksandar Vulin.

He is suspected of corrupt activities, mainly in the spread of malicious Russian influence in Serbia, as well as involvement in international organized crime, drug trafficking and abuse of public office.

His actions, as stated in the report, promoted corruption in state institutions in Serbia, and by this we mean the misuse of position for personal interests, which includes involvement in the narcotics trade.

The imposition of sanctions by the US Department of the Treasury means that all assets of persons under sanctions imposed in the US are frozen. At the same time, the companies owned by them or with which they are connected are also blocked.

But, apart from Vulini, Nova.rs points out, there are also other Serbian citizens in the above-mentioned list, more precisely a total of 14 of them, one of them is Slobodan Teshič, an arms dealer, reports Telegrafi.

Tešić is the biggest arms dealer in Serbia and he was linked to suspicious arms shipments, which is why he was in the focus of the international public on several occasions, and was even wanted for a while by Interpol.

But despite the fact that he is on the blacklist of the United States of America (USA), his companies continue to export weapons.

This list also includes Goran Andriç, who manages the company "Velkom Trade" Belgrade, and as announced earlier by the US Ministry of Finance, Andriç is one of the closest associates of Slobodan Tešič.

Gjithashtu, aty gjenden edhe biznesmeni kontrovers Milan Radoiçiç, i cili ishte i lidhur me vrasjen e politikanit serb në Kosovë, Oliver Ivanoviç. Ai është edhe nën sanksionet britanike.

Bashkëpunëtori i tij më i afërt Zvonko Veselinoviçit, si dhe kompanitë e tij janë gjithashtu nën sanksione. Veselinoviç ishte i lidhur edhe me vrasjen e Ivanoviçit, gjithashtu.

Ndërkohë listës “i është bashkuar” edhe Luka Karaxhiç, vëllai i Radovan Karaxhiç, i cili u dënua për krime lufte në luftën në Bosnjë dhe Hercegovinë në vitet 1990.

Otherwise, Radovan Karadzic was arrested in 2008 and later sentenced to life imprisonment for the crimes in Srebrenica.

And while the accusations against Vulin are pouring in these days, he is still in the post of the head of the Security and Information Agency of Serbia.

The president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, has also spoken about his case, who practically announced that Vulin will not be dismissed from the post of head of the BIA.
