United States President Donald Trump has issued a harsh statement against Iran, accusing it of violating the ceasefire agreement, following recent incidents in the Strait of Hormuz.

In a response published on the Truth Social platform, Trump said that Iranian forces had opened fire the day before, targeting international ships, including a French ship and a merchant ship from the United Kingdom.

"This is a total violation of our ceasefire agreement," he said, adding that Iran's actions constitute a direct provocation.

Trump also announced that US representatives would travel to Islamabad for negotiations, leaving open the possibility of a diplomatic solution to the crisis.

However, the tone of the statement remains deeply threatening. The US president stressed that if Iran does not accept the deal proposed by the US, his country is ready to take broad military action.

"We will destroy every power plant and every bridge in Iran," Trump warned, adding that "there is no more room for leniency."

He also commented on the economic situation, claiming that the closure of the Strait of Hormuz is costing Iran about $500 million a day, while the United States, according to him, is not suffering any losses.

In his statement, Trump used strong language against the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), accusing it of escalating tensions and calling the situation a crucial moment to end the "Iranian killing machine."

The statement comes at a time of high tension in the region, where clashes in the Persian Gulf and the closure of one of the world's most important oil transport corridors have raised concerns about a wider international conflict.

While diplomatic channels remain open, recent rhetoric from Washington signals a real risk of further escalation of the crisis between the two countries.
