US President Donald Trump said yesterday that a review of government records related to UFOs has uncovered "interesting" documents, adding that the first of them will be released very soon.

" We found a lot of documents, very interesting, I must say, and the first releases will begin very, very soon, so that you can see for yourself whether these phenomena are real ," Trump told supporters during an event organized by the conservative organization Turning Point USA in Phoenix, Arizona.

In February, Trump ordered US agencies to begin releasing government data related to unidentified flying objects and the possibility of extraterrestrial life, citing public interest in the topic.

Trump ordered a review of government records on UFOs after accusing Barack Obama of improperly releasing classified information when the 44th US president said in a podcast that aliens exist.
