A 4-year-old girl and her 76-year-old great-grandmother have disappeared without a trace, in Kypseli, Athens.

According to the Greek media, the 4-year-old Amarisa Mejdani, 4 years old, and her great-grandmother, Esma Mejdani, 76 years old, who suffered from dementia, are of Albanian origin.

The police started the search after being notified of their disappearance on Wednesday (29.05.2024) immediately after the prosecutor's order.  

In their physical description it is said that Amarisa Mejdani has short brown hair, brown eyes, 1 meter tall and normal weight. She was wearing a white skirt and a pink top on the day she disappeared.

Meanwhile, Esma Meidani has white hair, brown eyes, height 1.60 and normal weight. She was wearing a red scarf, a long black skirt, a pink blouse and a gray vest.

The Greek police ask citizens with information to contact the "European Hotline for the Missing", or the 'Missing Alert' application.
