The Council of Ministers, at its meeting held this Wednesday, approved a package of decisions in the fields of public administration, energy, cadastre, innovation and international cooperation.
Thus, according to a notification from the Media and Information Agency, the government decided to create the state database "Central Registry of Real Estate Database (Fiscal Cadastre)", with the aim of improving the administration and transparency of information on real estate in the country.
Also, the budget of the State Cadastre Agency for 2026 was approved, guaranteeing the continuity of the functioning and development of cadastral services.
In the field of energy, the Council of Ministers approved the construction of a photovoltaic power generation plant and ancillary works, with an installed capacity of 95 MW.
The power plant will be built in cadastral zone 3204, in the administrative unit of Synej, Kavajë Municipality, Tirana District. The project is not subject to a concession and does not benefit from support measures.
The government also approved, in principle, the financing agreement between the Republic of Albania, Montenegro and the European Commission for the IPA cross-border cooperation program Montenegro - Albania 2021–2027, further strengthening regional cooperation and the European integration process.
Today's meeting also decided on the organization and functioning of the "Innovation4Albania" agency as a public budgetary legal entity, subordinate to the minister responsible for innovation, with headquarters in Tirana. The agency will be financed from the state budget, donations and other legal sources.
Likewise, the organization and functioning of the General Directorate of State Material Reserves (DGSRMS) was approved as a public budgetary legal entity, subordinate to the minister responsible for state material reserves, with headquarters in Tirana.
