A house was engulfed in flames in the village of Markatomaj in Lezha this evening. 

Police sources informed that the hearth of the fire fell in one of the rooms of the apartment owned by Vasil Kola, causing great material damage. It is initially suspected to be an electric spark.

Fortunately, the family members managed to get out in time, but they could not put out the fire. It took the intervention of the firefighting forces to make it possible to locate the hearth, so that it did not spread further. 

The material damage is considerable, as the images also show their scale and the effectives in the extinguishing operation.
