Sources indicate that the prisoner in Shënkolli prison who died in the Lezha Regional Hospital Emergency Room is 64-year-old Shpëtim Ferko.

Ferko was serving his sentence in Shënkolli prison and it is known that he had health problems and his death is suspected to have come from natural causes.

Ferko's dead body will be sent to the morgue to determine the exact cause of death.
