The Albanian goes to Italy to meet his girlfriend but ends up in police custody

A 22-year-old Albanian man, who was wanted to serve a 5-year sentence for crimes ranging from theft to drug trafficking, has fallen into police custody.

According to foreign media, he has been convicted by the Public Prosecution of Macerata for crimes committed between Bologna and Macerata between 2019 and 2022.

However, the 22-year-old Albanian, although a resident of Fontanellato, traveled between Italy and Albania as the only connection to the province of Parma is his girlfriend.

Yesterday, the carabinieri, checking the databases, discovered that the person in question had returned to Italy and in all likelihood went to see his girlfriend.

Afterwards, the police called him and informed him that he had to appear at the police station for the notification of some documents. As soon as he arrived, he was arrested and sent to prison in Parma.
