The Democratic Party will not participate in the consultations called by the President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, to set the date for the 2027 local elections.

The meeting is scheduled to take place on October 30, where the head of state has invited representatives of parliamentary groups to discuss the date of the next local elections.

Meanwhile, the Socialist Party and other political forces have accepted President Begaj's invitation and are expected to participate in the consultations.

The invitation has been sent to all political parties that have members of Parliament.
