A month after the tragic death of the 26-year-old Albanian Anila Grishaj, who was dismembered by the meat machine at the workplace, the Italian media reports on another line of investigation added by the prosecution.
According to the Italian media, the Prosecutor's Office is investigating on two tracks, the first that the death may have been caused by a human error and the second by the malfunction of the security system.
Investigations continue
Immediately after the accident, the Prosecutor's Office opened the case for manslaughter against the colleague who was with Anila at that moment and who had activated the machine.
The machinery that led to the death of the 26-year-old worker has been seized to allow experts to carry out all the necessary checks.
According to the investigation of the prosecution, the cause of the accident was the malfunction of the machine.
The victim's college, which is now under investigation, had notified the 26-year-old, her manager, about the anomaly.
After trying to solve the problem, Anila allegedly asked her colleague to reactivate the machine and that's where the tragedy happened.
According to the Italian media, only the footage of the cameras will be able to shed light on what happened on the afternoon of November 14.
