The journalist of RTK, Jeton Musliu, has brought details regarding the information that there was an assassination plan against the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, during his visit to Skopje, North Macedonia. In a link to RTSH24, Musliu said that we are dealing with a plan that fortunately was not executed, while emphasizing that it was drawn up by the services of the Serbian-Macedonian extreme.
He lists two reasons why, according to him, North Macedonia was chosen to carry out this assassination.
"This plan was drawn up by some Serbian-Macedonian extreme services, connected to those of the Russian Federation, but of course under the control of Serbia. This plan could not be implemented due to the intervention of Kosovo's security institutions that last night, in cooperation with those of North Macedonia, established control. We are not dealing with an executed plan, but with preventing the execution of the plan. According to the sources of RTK, North Macedonia was chosen, it is ethnic of Kosovo and one of the best neighbors next to Albania and Montenegro and the other reason is the fact that there is an Albanian prime minister and this would have a great effect. dimensional in case such a plan could be executed," he said.
Asked if the event is related to the debate between Kurt and the Serbian President, Aleksandër Vucic, a few days ago at the UN Security Council, the journalist did not rule out such a possibility.
"It may be because all analysts have assessed that Kurti's appearance at the UN Security Council meeting was of a high level compared to Vucic and the recent moves of the Kosovo government in relation to the north of the country, or other decisions as the last decision of the CBK, has caused the authority of Belgrade, even among the Serbs of Kosovo, to fade drastically", stressed Musliu.
Regarding the statement of the Ministry of the Interior of North Macedonia, which denied the rumors that there was an attempt to assassinate Kurt in Skopje, the journalist says with conviction that the authorities there were aware of the plan, as for this reason they expanded the security perimeter in Skopje during Kurt's visit.
"At this point there is also a kind of confusion because we are not dealing with the execution of an assassination, there was no assassination, it was a plan which the security authorities of Kosovo realized existed and took action against this plan. If we refer to the Ministry of North Macedonia, we can note that they have been informed about this because they state in the announcement about Kurt's visit that special parts of the city of Skopje will be secured, even a very wide perimeter of Skopje that it is unusual for the visit of the regional prime minister to block half the city", he said.
Earlier this Saturday, RTK announced that there was an attempt by Serbia to kill the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti while he was in Skopje, which has increased security against him. Kurti reacted, as he said that the roots of the threatening individuals are in Belgrade.
