Thousands of protesters march through the streets of Tirana

After speeches in front of the Prime Minister's Office, thousands of protesters have dispersed from the square and are marching towards the main streets of Tirana, continuing the rally against the project in Zvërnec.

The rally, which is taking place for the eighth consecutive day, was accompanied by calls for the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama, while protesters highlighted their concerns about immigration, property and strategic investments.

At the end of the speeches in front of the Prime Minister's Office building, the participants began the march through the boulevard and surrounding streets, holding banners and continuing with their political calls.

Protesters warn that the movement will continue in the coming days, while their demands remain unchanged.

With calls for "Resignation", "Rama in prison, Berisha in prison", the participants raised concerns related not only to the project in Zvërnec, but also to immigration, property, justice, education and healthcare.

During the rally, the main demands of the protesters were also presented, which include the resignation of the government, the repeal of the strategic investor status, the cancellation of the "Mountains Package", as well as the cancellation of changes to the laws on protected areas and cultural heritage.

Also, a call was made from the podium for a broader civic mobilization on June 10, with the aim of creating a nationwide movement.
