Gunshot wound in Shijak, perpetrator wanted

One person was injured by gunfire after a conflict that occurred on Sunday afternoon in Shijak.

According to the police, the incident occurred at around 17:30, in the "Lugina" neighborhood, after a conflict for weak motives between citizens BG and EB.

The injured BG citizen was transported to the hospital, where he is receiving medical attention. According to authorities, his life is out of danger.

Immediately after the notification, the Police services arrived at the scene, surrounded the area and launched intensive checks to locate and capture the suspected perpetrator, citizen EB.

Meanwhile, the investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is continuing its actions to fully clarify the circumstances and legally document the event.

"Around 17:30, in the Lugina neighborhood, Shijak, it is suspected that, after a conflict for weak motives between citizens BG and EB, citizen BG was wounded in the leg with a gunshot.

Police services immediately went to the scene, surrounded the area and are continuing intensive checks to locate and capture citizen EB, the suspected perpetrator of the injury.

The BG citizen was transported to the hospital to receive medical attention and is under the care of doctors, out of danger to his life.

"The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, continues its actions to clarify and fully document the circumstances of the incident," the police announced.
