Gjesti's family has reacted through a public statement regarding the unprecedented event that occurred the night before on Big Brother Vip, where Jozefin Marku slapped Besart Kelmendi.

Gjesti's family says they are shocked and that such an act is intolerable, but proud of Gjesti for not reacting and remaining calm.

Full reaction:

We are still shocked and heartbroken by what happened last night in the Big Brother VIP house. The images of physical violence against Gjesti were difficult to watch and even more difficult to experience as people who know him, love him and know how kind-hearted and pure he is.

No one deserves to be abused – neither inside nor outside of a game. Gjesti entered that house with respect, with politeness, and with a heart full of kindness. He never deserved such a violent confrontation.

The pain we feel is great, but we are proud of him. Proud that even in that moment, he chose not to react with violence. Proud that he remained strong and calm, even when he was unjustly attacked.

This post is not just a reaction. It is a call. For justice. For reflection. For humanity. Because violence can never and should never be part of any format, any game, any society that claims to be healthy.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of you who are by Gest's side. Your love gives him strength.
