A serious incident occurred at the psychiatric hospital in Tirana, where a 30-year-old patient injured two other patients with a hard object.

Police notification

The Tirana Local Police Directorate has announced that the Crime Investigation specialists of Police Station No. 4 have referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office and have initiated proceedings in the case of citizen AK, 30 years old, who is a patient in a psychiatric hospital.

The incident occurred on the hospital premises, where AK hit two other patients with a hard object.

Both patients received the necessary medical attention and are currently reported to be out of danger.

Authorities are continuing their investigations to fully uncover the incident.
