From words to deeds - Albanian shipbuilding: The Act of Establishment of "Fincantieri Albania" is signed

In Genoa, Italy, at the Maritime Ships Division of the FINCANTIERI company, an important step was taken towards strengthening the strategic cooperation between Albania and Italy, with the signing of the Act of Establishment and Statute of the company "Fincantieri Albania".

Through a publication on his social network, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Albania, Mr. Ermal Nufi, underlines that: " This partnership represents an important investment in the development of the Albanian maritime industry, the transfer of technology, the creation of new jobs and the increase of production capacities in the country ."

Among other things, Minister Nufi states that: " Albania continues to build sustainable partnerships with international industry leaders, creating added value for the economy and contributing to strengthening national security ."

The company "Fincantieri Albania" will be engaged in the management of the Pashalimani shipyard after its modernization, and will supervise the construction of ships with a length of up to 82 meters and a displacement of up to 700 tons, intended for both the domestic and international markets.
